RSA Conference 2021 Celebrates Resiliency

Bedford, Mass., May 21, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — RSA® Conference, the world’s leading information security conferences and expositions, concluded its 30th annual event, which took place as a fully virtual experience this week. This year’s theme was Resilience, and in honor of all that the cybersecurity industry has accomplished over the past three decades, offered a must-attend celebration of thought leadership and education.

More than 20,000 people registered to view 449 sessions including, keynotes, track sessions, interactive programs, tutorials, seminars, and many special digital-first programs that focused on best practices and innovation. The content covered many of the industry’s most pressing topics, including privacy, machine learning and artificial intelligence, analytics, anti-fraud, policy and government, and risk management and governance.

    • A fireside chat SolarWinds: What Really Happened? where Sudhakar Ramakrishna, President and CEO of SolarWinds, shared his unique perspective around the anatomy of the attack, timeline, and specific learnings from the incident.     • Anne Neuberger, Deputy National Security Advisor for Cyber and Emerging Technology, hosted Cybersecurity as a National Imperative where she framed the Biden Administration’s approach to safeguarding U.S. cybersecurity and modernizing cybersecurity defenses.
    • Closing out RSAC Conference 2021, a virtual experience with The Hugh Thompson Show: Backyard Edition, focused on the bright side of resilience, one of innovation and reinvention. Special guest, beloved inventor Steve Wozniak, gave us a peek into the mind of an optimistic creator by sharing his experiences, revelations, and perspective of a bright future.
  • 735 speakers across 449 sessions and over 185 sponsors and exhibitors in the Digital Expo.
  • Apiiro being named RSA Conference 2021’s “Most Innovative Startup” by a panel of expert judges during the sixteenth annual RSAC Innovation Sandbox Contest.
  • Professor David Pointcheval receiving the annual RSAC Excellence in the Field of Mathematics Award for his work developing provable-security arguments for applied public-key cryptographic systems and protocols.
  • RSAC College Day welcoming over 500 college students who attended dedicated events, and experienced RSA Conference sessions and the Digital Expo.
