Media Advisory – Minister Mendicino and Member of Parliament Lapointe to make an announcement about preventing gun and gang violence in Greater Sudbury

SUDBURY, ON, Aug. 1, 2022 /CNW/ – Members of the media are invited to join the Honourable Marco Mendicino, Minister of Public Safety, and Viviane Lapointe, Member of Parliament for Sudbury to make an announcement regarding federal support for organizations on the front lines of the fight against gun and gang violence in Greater Sudbury.

They will be joined by Marc G. Serré, Member of Parliament for Nickel Belt, and His Worship Brian Bigger, Mayor of Greater Sudbury.

Following the announcement, Minister Mendicino and Mayor Bigger will take questions from the media.
